Yunnan Qi Zi Bing Cha[Ming Qian] 2019 357g
Yunnan, China
The dry-leaf aroma is even and natural — dried meadow herbs, a little tree bark and a fine note of dried apple. No sharpness, just a calm, clean base. Warmed, the aroma deepens: spring flowers, warm hay and a soft fruity sweetness. All very restrained and harmonious. The liquor is pale-gold and clear. The taste is full and oily, well balanced: the bitterness typical of sheng is gentle here, leaving quickly and giving way to a distinct sweetness. Composed, with no needless aggression.
