We should have made this ages ago. So we did. Shu Pu-erh 2020 'Hennessy XO' · Gongting. We'd long wanted a Pu-erh with the character of good liquor — without the alcohol. That's how our 'spirits' collection was born, and this cake opens it. Oak barrel, warm honey, dense dark chocolate and cherry, like an aged cognac. Thick, deep, enveloping shu — for the evening, the quiet, the state of mind. This isn't just tea; it's a mood we're handing you. Personally it's my favourite of all our shu — aromatic, rich, deep. Everything the way we like it.
